The energy of this Irish couple got everyone dancing at their wedding in a stunning villa in Florence.
When Aengus and Louise first contacted me, the connection was instant. This joyful Irish couple brought their vibrant energy to Villa Pitiana, a majestic estate nestled in the rolling hills of Tuscany. To make their day even more unforgettable, they brought along the legendary John Garrity, a soulful musician from Belfast, whose music became the heartbeat of the entire celebration.
A fun ceremony in the courtyard of Villa Pitiana.
The day began within the historic halls of the villa, leading to an outdoor ceremony in the internal courtyard. Officiated by a close friend with great wit, the ceremony was a lively affair with guests invited to share stories and laughs, creating a truly communal atmosphere. The highlight of the afternoon was the couple’s grand entrance to the reception: Aengus and Louise made a “cool and funky” descent through a cheering crowd of guests, accompanied by the acoustic notes of John Garrity.
Outdoor dinner followed by Irish dancing late into the night.
Dinner was held in the expansive rear gardens, where elegant round tables surrounded the couple’s central seat. After a series of heartfelt and hilarious Irish speeches, the party moved to the stage. Following the cake cutting, Aengus and Louise opened the floor with a spectacular first dance, leading into a night of traditional Irish songs and folk music that turned the Tuscan night into a vibrant pub-style celebration. The energy eventually moved indoors for a late-night DJ set that lasted until the early hours.
