The experience begins even before you arrive. As soon as you leave the main Valdarno road and start climbing the hill from S. Ellero, you are immersed in the quintessential countryside scenarios that make Villa Pitiana a dream destination. Just past the small cottages of Donnini, the Villa emerges from the landscape, sparkling in its elegant yellow against the deep green backdrop of the Vallombrosa Forest and Pratomagno mountain.

This yellow hue is the signature of Pitiana—from the wild Roman chamomile and dandelions in the surrounding fields to the warm glow of the old golden lamps and crystal festoons that illuminate the halls at night.
