A couple with Maltese and Sicilian roots living in New Zealand, bringing together a wonderful mix of cultures for an energetic and romantic wedding at Villa Il Petriccio in Tuscany.

The wedding of RoseMarie and Samuele was filled with positive energy, joy and a carefree spirit that this wonderful couple brought to every single moment they shared.

For their religious ceremony, they chose one of the most iconic churches in the area around Florence, the Collegiate Church of Sant’Andrea in Empoli.

After getting ready at Villa Lola, where they shared relaxed and joyful moments with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, RoseMarie had an emotional first look with her father, who was visibly moved.

The ceremony was touching yet joyful, celebrated by a priest who is a friend of the couple. Afterwards, together with the couple and photographer Roberto Graziani, we moved to Villa Il Petriccio in Montespertoli, where the reception took place.

All their friends and family were there to welcome them, and after a relaxed aperitivo, everyone got into the spirit of the celebration with a spectacular entrance into dinner, accompanied by traditional Italian music and songs reflecting Samuele’s Sicilian heritage.

The day continued with a wonderful first dance, perfectly choreographed by the couple and carefully prepared over several months. After the cake cutting came another unforgettable moment: their friends lifted the newlyweds onto their shoulders and celebrated with them, following an ancient Maltese tradition from RoseMarie’s heritage.

The evening then continued with dancing and singing to the music of DJ Betto, who kept all the guests entertained throughout the night.

Creating the wedding film for this wonderful couple was a great pleasure and, above all, a lot of fun for me.
