A wedding inspired by the musical The Greatest Showman in one of the villas of Florence with the most iconic view.

For Matt and Callie, a dynamic couple from New York, their wedding wasn’t just a ceremony—it was a grand celebration of love inspired by the soundtrack of their lives: The Greatest Showman. As a Florence wedding videographer, I embraced this theme, using the powerful notes of the musical to score a film that is as explosive and charismatic as they are.

The day began in the sophisticated rooms of Villa Le Fontanelle. Callie prepared in the light-filled bridal suite overlooking the gardens, while Matt took over the villa’s iconic turret, offering a bird’s-eye view of the estate. Their ceremony took place under the elegant gazebo in the villa’s courtyard, followed by an aperitivo in the lower gardens, where the historic fountains create a serene, cooling atmosphere.

The celebration reached its peak on the main terrace, where a magnificent imperial table was set against the most famous skyline in the world. Between courses, the terrace transformed into a dance floor with “explosive” performances that mirrored the couple’s vibrant personalities. The night continued with a romantic cake cutting and dancing that moved from the starlit terrace to the villa’s intimate interior halls.

Adding to the magic, I also captured their Welcome Dinner the evening before: an exclusive rooftop event in the heart of Florence, with a private view over Ponte Vecchio as the sun set over the Arno.
