From the iconic terraced gardens of Villa del Balbianello and the romantic, lakeside charm of Villa i Cipressi in Varenna, to the artistic grandeur of Villa Carlotta and the chic, modern vibe of Lido di Lenno, every corner of this region exudes an atmosphere of refined luxury and timeless romance.
Memorable Stories Captured on Camera
Every wedding on the lake tells a unique story, and I’ve been honored to document many of them. My journey here began several years ago with Joel and Liza, who chose the breathtaking Villa del Balbianello for their celebration—a day filled with classic Italian elegance that remains close to my heart.
I also had the pleasure of filming the wedding of Helene and Tobias, a lovely couple from Norway. Their day was a beautiful blend of locations, starting with a poignant ceremony at Villa Carlotta, followed by a vibrant reception at the stylish Lido di Lenno, accessible only by boat.
More recently, I captured the stunning union of Peter and Leela. They exchanged vows amidst the historic statues of Villa del Balbianello before moving the festivities to the intimate, cypress-lined paths of Villa i Cipressi for a night of celebration under the stars.
