A Unique Wedding Experience
I have filmed several weddings at Castello di Ristonchi, and I return every year with great pleasure. The warm and welcoming environment makes every celebration special, while the natural surroundings add beauty to every scene I capture.
Getting Ready at the Castle
Couples can get ready either inside the castle or in the charming houses next to it. These spaces provide privacy and comfort while sharing the preparations with close family members. After getting ready, it is easy to move to the olive field lawn, where couples can host a simple and heartfelt ceremony.
Dinner With a View
After the ceremony, the larger lawn becomes the heart of the celebration. This beautiful open space overlooks the valley and the rolling Tuscan hills, with the castle visible in the background. Guests can enjoy cocktails and dinner at sunset, paired with a glass of local wine.
Often, an Italian folk trio plays cheerful music with guitar and accordion, creating a joyful and romantic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
A Party to Remember
When night falls, the celebration continues inside the castle’s underground hall. The staff at Castello di Ristonchi creates the perfect setting for an unforgettable party with music, dancing, and an open bar. The energy inside this space always turns the evening into an exciting experience.
Memorable Weddings Captured Here
Some of my favorite weddings were filmed here. In 2025, I captured the wedding of Sara and Maciej, a wonderful couple with whom I immediately felt a connection.
Another unforgettable wedding was Michael and Evan’s. I am especially proud of that one because Michael is an American filmmaker. Being chosen by another professional in the field was a meaningful honor and a strong sign of trust.
Dana and Logan’s wedding was also unique. Their family was incredibly close and warm, and during the party the couple surprised everyone with an energetic dance performance that set the tone for the night.
