An Irish couple who created a joyful wedding in Tuscany, full of fun and great music.
Located just a stone’s throw from the medieval walls of Monteriggioni, Borgo Stomennano is a place where history and nature embrace. For Lucy and Anton, a wonderful Irish couple, this ancient hamlet provided the perfect setting for a wedding that was as emotional as it was spectacular.
Preparations inside the villa and a delightful ceremony with live music.
The day began within the elegant walls of the villa, where the couple prepared for a ceremony held in the heart of the lush gardens. It was a truly personal affair: an incredibly talented friend acted as the celebrant, while relatives performed live music, creating a soulful soundtrack that I felt compelled to use for the opening of their cinematic wedding film. After the “I do,” we took advantage of the Golden Hour for a romantic shooting session among the silver-green olive groves that surround the estate.
An outdoor dinner and a spectacular first dance that involved all the guests.
The reception moved to the back of the villa, where a grand imperial table was set under the trees, creating a warm, family-style atmosphere for dinner. The night reached its peak by the swimming pool, where Lucy and Anton performed a spectacular first dance under the stars to the iconic notes of “The Whole of the Moon” by The Waterboys. The energy was electric, and as the outdoor party concluded, the celebration moved inside the villa to continue until the early hours of the morning. As a Tuscany wedding videographer, capturing the blend of Irish joy and the timeless beauty of Stomennano was a highlight of my season.
